Applicants must provide information about their academic accomplishments and work experience, if any; upload copies of relevant transcripts and credit certificates, and a résumé, all in PDF format; and write several essays about their interests and background. Applicants must also provide contact information for two references, who must respond to the reference requests before the application can be submitted.

Kantner Foundation scholarship funds are paid directly to the colleges or universities the winners are attending.
Winners are emailed a claim form, which they must complete and submit to claim their scholarships. The claim form must be submitted no later than August 1, and it must include a hard copy of the winner’s signed admission acceptance letter. Additionally, winners must submit a digital photograph and short biography via email that will be displayed on the Kantner Foundation website. Failure to submit the claim form and supporting documents, and the photograph and biography, will result in loss of the scholarship.
No, scholarship awards may not be deferred under any circumstances.
