Accepting Applications December 1, 2016
Welcome to the Kantner Foundation Scholarship Application Portal.
The Kantner Foundation Inc., was established in 1987 by Woodrow A. Kantner, self-made real estate developer/investor from Martin County, Florida, to carry out his twin objectives of (i) providing scholarships to like-minded high school students from the local community, and (ii) advancing the free enterprise system and community based philanthropy.
Each year the Kantner Foundation awards college scholarships to high-school seniors who have demonstrated high potential for future success and have met the qualifications set by the Foundation.
Scholarships range from $2,000 to $20,000
Application deadline is April 1st, 2017
The Foundation does consider the financial need of scholarship applicants; however the four (4) primary qualifications used to award scholarships are as follows:
- Academic achievement
- Community involvement
Scholarship applicants must be:
- High-school seniors (at public / private high-schools / home schooled)
- Full-time residents of Palm Beach or Martin Counties, Florida
The online scholarship application is designed to provide the Kantner Foundation with a complete view of your accomplishments, academic and extra-curricular interests, and the content of your character through interactions with those close to you.
Please be honest and take time to fill out the entire online application as incomplete applications will not be considered for scholarship awards.
